World Soccer – ฟุตบอลโลก เมสซี่กับเปเล่ ใครเก่งกว่ากัน เราคุยกับอ๋อยถึงเพื่อนที่ไม่เคยสนใจฟุตบอลแต่พร้อมใจกันนั่งดูฟุตบอลนัดสุดท้าย และต่างก็สมใจที่ทีมอาร์เจนตินาชนะ นี่คงจะมีสอวออีกมากมายที่เพิ่งมาสนใจดูฟุตบอล อาจเป็นเพราะอยากให้เมสซี่ได้เป็นเจ้าของ World Cup ให้สาสมกับความสามารถอันเป็นที่ยอมรับกันว่าเขาเป็นนักฟุตบอลที่เก่งยอดเยี่ยมที่สุดตั้งแต่มีการแข่งขันฟุตบอลโลก แล้วเปเล่หละ จะเอาไปไว้ที่ใหน ถ้านับจำนวนครั้งที่ชนะฟุตบอลโลก เมสซี่เทียบไม่ได้เลย ก็เปเล่ลงเล่นฟุตบอลโลก ๔ ครั้งได้แชมป์ ๓ ครั้ง ส่วนเมสซี่วันนี้พึ่งได้แชมป์ครั้งแรกจากการลงสนามแข่งบอลโลกมาแล้ว ๕ ครั้ง และครั้งนี้อาจจะเป็นครั้งสุดท้าย บรรดาแฟนทั่วโลกจึงต่างดีใจที่ได้เห็นนักฟุตบอลที่พวกเขาเฝ้าติดตามดูลีลาการเลี้ยงลูกเลื้อยจากกลางสนามผ่านฝ่ายตรงข้าม ๓-๔-๕-๖ คนเข้าไปยิงประตู เราเองไม่ได้ติดตามดูฟุตบอลเหมือนแต่ก่อน แต่ถ้าเมสซี่ลงสนามเราจะกระเสือกกระสนหาไฮไลท์ดูลีลาการเลี้ยงหลอกล่อคู่ต่อสู้ แฟนเมสซี่คงจะเห็นด้วยกับเราที่รู้สึกได้ว่าบอลโลกรอบหลังสุดนี้เมสซี่ช้าลงอย่างเห็นได้ชัด แต่ลีลาการเลี้ยงลูกผ่านกองหลังฝ่ายตรงข้ามและการเตะลูกโทษก็ยังไม่เป็นสองรองใคร คงเป็นที่ถกเถียงกันไปได้เรื่อยๆโดยไม่มีข้อสรุปว่าระหว่างเปเล่กับเมซซี่ใครเก่งกว่ากัน เรารู้แต่ว่าสมัยเปเล่เมื่อสี่ห้าสิบปีที่แล้ว เกมการเล่นฟุตบอลเป็นแบบใช้ความสามารถเฉพาะตัวและเล่นบอลแนวรุก แต่ปัจจุบันทีมเวิร์คสำคัญที่สุดและเน้นเกมรับ เช่นบอลโลกคราวนี้จำนวนประตูที่เกิดจากการเตะลูกที่จุดโทษดูเหมือนจะมากกว่าลูกที่ยิงได้จากมุมโน้นมุมนี้ สมัยนี้จึงต้องมีความคล่องตัวสูงมากในการฝ่าปราการของฝ่ายตรงข้าม และลีลาของเมสซี่ในการครอบครองและพาลูกเลี้ยงเลื้อยหลบอีกฝ่ายช่างลื่นไหลหมดจดไม่มีที่ติเข้าขั้นมหัศจรรย์ เอ้ แล้วเจ้าเมสซี่รู้สึกยังไงกับการได้แชมป์บอลโลกวันนี้ คงไม่ต่างจากเปเล่ตอนได้เป็นแชมป์ครั้งสุดท้ายที่บอกชาวโลกว่า “โล่ง สบายใจ เหมือนยกภูเขาออกจากอก เป็นความรู้สึกที่ดีกว่าการได้ยกถ้วยรางวัล” ๑๘ ธันวาคม ๒๕๖๕
